Heroes are all good and fine, but what does a reader really want? A complex, intriguing villain they can sink their teeth into. In this workshop, we'll be discussing how to turn your antagonist into the sort of challenge that will make your hero and your readers question everything. What does it mean to be 'evil' - and do they even need to be evil to stand against the world? How do you build a character whose values both oppose the protagonist's AND make sense? And how can you make the bad guy a person your readers can love to hate (or even just plain love)?
