We are seeking a full-time attorney to join our growing team. We are a firm of like-minded attorneys working to provide exemplary client representation in a collegial work environment. Work onsite alongside our team of attorneys and paralegals. We offer competitive benefits and pay commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Currently licensed to practice law in the State of Colorado or have taken the bar exam in Colorado and awaiting admission to the bar or awaiting licensure transfer from another jurisdiction.
· A demonstrable interest in the practice of family law or experience in family law.
· Knowledge of Colorado family law statutes, case law and local court rules.
· Trial experience preferred, but not required.
· Strong communication skills and a high degree of initiative.
· Exceptional legal research and drafting skills and willingness to accept and implement feedback.
· Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
· Experience and applied knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and AdobePro.
· Experience with legal software such as Clio, Dropbox, and Math4Law.
· A sense of humor and ability to work with a team.
Responsibilities Under the supervision of a senior attorney:
o Demonstrated ability to research, analyze and write;
o Be able to support attorneys representing clients in dissolution of marriage, legal separation, common law marriage, allocation of parental responsibilities, post-decree matters, cases involving domestic violence and protection orders, and other domestic relations cases;
o Manage case deadlines, work with team to develop case strategy;
o Draft correspondence, pleadings, motions, settlement agreements;
o Attend mediation, arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution proceedings;
o Appear in court and advocate on behalf of clients;
o Consult with clients regularly to provide updates, provide guidance, and develop case;
o Negotiate with counsel and parties to obtain favorable client outcomes;
o Assist in overseeing client trust account management and collections;
o Collaborate with other counsel and staff; and
o Participate in personal and firm marketing efforts.
Billing, Pay and Benefits:
· 110 hours per month billable hour expectation;
· Competitive base pay plus bonuses based on collections ($90,000 to $120,000 total depending upon experience);
· No book of business required;

• The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000. The range is a reliable estimate based on billable hours and collections that this individual is expected to receive. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, billable hour expectations, and other job-related factors as permitted by law. The range may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Rule 4.1.2.
