Job Description

PT 20-30 hrs/wk; Starting at $22/hr. Scheduled shifts typically range between 6-8 hours during which the Ice Cream Production Assistant supports daily ice cream production operations and delivery activities. This role assists with preparing, producing, packaging, sanitizing, and delivering ice cream and related products while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service. The Production Assistant works as part of a team to ensure products are made according to established recipes, handled safely, and delivered accurately and on time. Essential Job Functions • Assist in the daily production of ice cream products following established recipes and procedures and ensuring the highest quality of production. • Maintain quality control standards throughout the production process. • Load, transport, and deliver products safely and in a timely manner when assigned in the Denver, Front Range and mountain communities. • Ensure finished products are properly packaged, labeled, and stored in clean, sanitized containers. • Clean, sanitize, and reassemble production equipment and maintain housekeeping standards in production areas. • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction. • Adhere to assigned delivery routes, schedules, and all applicable transportation laws. • Provide courteous, professional customer service and represent the company positively on and off-site. • Assist in maintaining inventory of ingredients and finished products. Follow all company safety policies, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards. Non-Essential Job Functions • Assist with additional tasks as needed in a team-based work environment. • Support retail and wholesale customer interactions when required. • Help with other operational duties as assigned, provided primary responsibilities are maintained. Requirements • Minimum age: 25+ years of age required • Two years of college, trade school or two years of successful and continuous employment with a company. • Valid Colorado Driver’s License with a clean driving record • Experience driving cargo vans • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly, with or without reasonable accommodation. • Ability to stand for extended periods of time. • Ability to work indoors and outdoors under varying Colorado weather conditions. • Ability to read and write legibly in English. • Strong interpersonal communication, math, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and overtime. • Reliable transportation to and from work. • Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of a background check, motor vehicle record check and verification of eligibility to work in the United States. • The Company maintains a drug-free workplace in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.
