Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver for the PM or AM shift to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in senior care, assisted living, and home & community care, with a passion for enhancing residents' quality of life. As a Caregiver PM Shift, you will provide essential personal and medical support, ensuring residents’ safety, comfort, and well-being during evening hours. Responsibilities • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status. • Support residents with dementia or memory care needs through specialized behavioral management techniques. • Operate electronic medical record (EMR) systems to document care activities and resident information precisely. • Encouraging residents to attend in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. • Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to sanitation standards and assisting with light housekeeping tasks. • Collaborate with team members to develop individualized care plans that meet each resident’s unique needs. Qualifications • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly desirable. • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and memory support techniques. • Certification or training in first aid and CPR is preferred. • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities requiring personal support. • Familiarity with vital signs monitoring. • Strong communication skills combined with compassionate caregiving abilities. • Ability to operate EMR systems efficiently and accurately document resident information. • Join our team as a Caregiver PM Shift and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents through dedicated support and compassionate care!
