We are seeking an experienced Welder II to join our team at our Arvada, Colorado facility, working a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM .In this role, you will work independently to set up and operate welding equipment, fabricate and weld final products, and ensure work meets specifications outlined in mechanical drawings. This position plays a key role in producing high‑quality products safely, accurately, and on schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Independently set up and operate welding and cutting equipment in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Perform multi‑process welding, including GMAW and GTAW, on mild steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
• Weld and fabricate final products using mechanical drawings and raw components
• Work within established welding procedures to meet product specifications
• Perform finishing, fitting, and related tasks to complete parts
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate product manufacturing
• Provide basic guidance to colleagues on metallurgy as it relates to welding
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure proper operation
• Manage welding supplies and consumables, ensuring proper storage and availability
• Assist with assembly and inspection of final products as needed
• Support and help train less experienced team members when directed
• Actively support and participate in the company’s safety programs and policies
• Participate in company-wide Total Quality Management (TQM) initiatives
• Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Completion of a related welding training or apprenticeship program, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints
• Working knowledge of weld rods, weld wire, welding equipment settings, and welding techniques
• Basic math skills related to measurement, fabrication, and layout
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting quality and safety standards
