Quality Control Technician

Summary Conduct visual and functional inspections of components and medical devices at various stages of the manufacturing process, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and company specifications. Responsibilities • Perform detailed measurements and tests on components and finished products using precision measuring equipment and tools such as calipers, micrometers, gage blocks/pins, measuring microscope, and height gage. • Follow established inspection procedures and standards. • Identify and document defects or non-conformities and collaborate with the production team to address and resolve them. • Conduct final inspections and quality checks before products are released for shipment. • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections and testing results. • Assist in root cause analysis and participate in corrective and preventive actions when necessary. Qualifications • 1+ years of experience in a quality inspection role • Proficient using measuring microscope, gauges, calipers, and micrometers • Ability to read engineering drawings • Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards is a plus • Excellent communication skills • Knowledge of quality standards, inspection techniques, and metrology • Attention to detail • Documentation and record-keeping • Problem-solving and time-management Work Environment Work as part of a small quality team, collaborating with a larger assembly and engineering team. Operate within a cleanroom environment, requiring proper cleanroom attire (i.e. lab coat, hair net, gloves, safety glasses, shoe covers) Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Longmont, CO.
