Job Description
An opportunity is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to support K–12 students in a Colorado school district. This contract position begins immediately and extends through May 22, 2026, with assignments across elementary to high school levels based on experience and preference.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support classroom instruction and assist teachers in creating an effective learning environment
• Work directly with students who have significant or severe disabilities (experience preferred)
• Provide assistance with daily living activities including toileting and diapering when needed
• Adapt to assignments at various school sites and with different age groups as required
• Maintain punctuality, reporting by 7:40 a.m. for elementary or 8:00 a.m. for middle/high school locations
• Comply with all district policies including fingerprint clearance and background checks
Qualifications:
• Minimum of one year of experience working in school classrooms
• Experience supporting severe or significant caseloads is highly preferred
• Reliable transportation is essential (personal vehicle required; bus, rideshare services not acceptable)
• Ability to flexibly work across multiple school sites and grade levels
• Must provide two completed professional references verified through a standardized reference process (no submission without references)
Location: Denver, Colorado area (specific school sites assigned post-interview)
