Maintenance Tech

Join Our Rocky Mountain Team! Rocky Mountain Assisted Living is looking for an maintenance tech. The candidate must have a great attitude, dependability, and maintenance skills. We are also looking for someone with small appliance repair experience. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: • Paint Touch up • Carpet cleaning • Monthly preventative maintenance on HVAC, appliances, sprinklers. • Maintaining up to date safety log, fire drill records and daily work report. • Responding to maintenance emergencies as requested. • Inspects vacated resident rooms and completes “room turns” including painting, repair and general maintenance within prescribed or reasonable time frame. Once a room has been “turned” it should look as if it were a new room. • Assist Director as needed. This position is Full time Monday to Friday, and on-call every other weekend. QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, dry wall repair and general maintenance. A minimum of two (2) years’ experience with documented evidence of varied skills and abilities. Experience working in a facility with a senior population a plus. Willingness to be on call for maintenance emergencies at the request of the Facilities Manager. MUST have a friendly attitude and great customer service when working with residents, staff, management, families, and outside vendors.
