Happy Wednesday, Arvada!

Ben, here! Since we’re still new around here, we figured we’d kick things off with a greatest-hits list — the kind of spots you take friends, family, or out-of-towners when they say, “So… what’s there to do in Arvada?”

Some of these are classics. Some are underrated. All of them are solid reminders that Arvada quietly punches above its weight.

⭐ Arvada’s Greatest Hits — Tourist-y, Classic, and Still Totally Worth It

Happy Arvada! Since we’re still new around here, we’re starting with a greatest-hits list — the spots you take friends, family, or out-of-towners when they ask, “So… what’s there to do here?” Consider this your reminder that Arvada quietly punches way above its weight.

🛍️ Olde Town Arvada

If Arvada had a front porch, this would be it. Brick streets, local shops, breweries, coffee, and frequent festivals make Olde Town an easy yes for first-timers and locals alike. Come hungry, leave with a tote bag you didn’t plan on buying.

🎭 Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities

One of the best cultural surprises on the Front Range. Broadway-quality shows, concerts, art exhibits, and outdoor events — even longtime locals forget how much happens here until they check the calendar.

🌿 Majestic View Nature Center

Easy trails, mountain views, wildlife sightings, and zero pressure. This is the “we just need to get outside for 30 minutes” spot that somehow always turns into an hour.

🚴 Van Bibber Creek Trail

A low-stress, high-reward trail for walking, biking, or zoning out with a podcast. It connects neighborhoods, parks, and views — and proves you don’t need to drive to the foothills to feel outside.

🚗 Cussler Museum

A true “wait… Arvada has this?” kind of spot. The Cussler Museum is currently closed for the 2025 season, but it reopens May–September 2026, welcoming visitors on Thursdays, Fridays, and the first Saturday of each month. Even if you’re not a car person, this place is quirky, fascinating, and well worth planning a return visit once the doors reopen.

These might be the “tourist” picks — but honestly, they’re classics for a reason. If you’re new to Arvada, start here. If you’ve lived here a while, consider this your reminder tour.

🍲 Who’s Serving the Best Bowl in Arvada?

When the weather cools down, Arvada knows exactly what to do — grab a spoon and settle in. From rich green chile that warms you from the inside out to classic comfort soups that feel like a hug in a bowl, our local spots take soup seriously.

Now it’s time to give those simmering pots the recognition they deserve. Which restaurant, café, or hidden gem is serving up the most crave-worthy soup in town? The kind you think about days later. The kind you’d drive across town for. 🥣✨

Let’s crown Arvada’s Best Soup — one delicious vote at a time.
