Dogs, drinks, and a patio kind of night š¾
Pups, patios, and a very good reason to go out
Happy Wednesday, Arvada!
Some events feel like you have to plan around them. This is not one of those. This is the kind of thing you can decide on last minute and still feel like you made the right call. Read on, because this one might quietly become your new go-to.
Whatās Happeninā is growing ā want to join us?
Last month our local newsletters across Boulder, Arvada, Fort Collins, Longmont, and Denver were opened 177,000+ times by locals looking for things to do and places to go.
As we continue to grow, Iām looking to add one or two people to help with partnerships with local businesses.
If you love supporting local businesses and want to help grow these newsletters, just reply to this email and tell me a little about yourself.
Pups on the Patio is back in Arvada
If your ideal Friday plan includes a cold drink, a sunny patio, and at least a few dogs in bandanas, this one has your name all over it. Pups on the Patio is back at Colorado Tap House on Friday, April 10 from 4 to 7 p.m., and honestly, it sounds like one of the easiest wins on the calendar this week. It is casual, dog-friendly, and built for anyone who likes a little happy hour energy with extra tail wagging.
The event is open to everyone, so you do not need to show up with a dog to enjoy it. You can come for the patio hang, meet other local dog lovers, and check out a few pet-focused vendors while you are there. It is the kind of event that works whether you want to stay for one drink or settle in and make an evening of it.
A few local favorites will also be part of the fun. Golden Paws Mobile Vet will be on site offering veterinarian advice and $10 nail trims, which is a pretty solid bonus if your pup is overdue for a little cleanup. Woof Candelas will have treats for sale and info about its grooming services, and GRRR, Golden Retriever Rescue, will be there sharing adoption info, ways to support their work, and merchandise.
So yes, this is a happy hour. But it is also a nice excuse to get out, be social, meet some local businesses, and maybe leave with a bag of treats and a new favorite community event. Arvada does plenty of things well, but dog-friendly patio nights might be one of its strongest categories.
Would you go to a dog-friendly happy hour like this?
