Happy Monday, Arvada!

You don’t need a flight to New Orleans this week. You just need to show up. Beads, brass, and a little midweek chaos are headed straight for Olde Town, and it’s all happening right in the pedestrian mall. Keep reading, because this one’s got roaming music and real-deal Cajun food.

👀 We Asked. You Answered. Now… Do We Reveal

You told us you wanted What’s Happenin’ stickers — so we’ve been quietly working behind the scenes on brand-new designs (yes, Rocky may or may not be involved 🐐).

The question is…

🎨 Should we reveal the new sticker designs this Wednesday?

Mardi Gras hits Olde Town this Tuesday 🎭

Mardi Gras hits Olde Town this Tuesday 🎭

If your week needs a little spark, this is it.

On Tuesday, February 17 from 5:15pm to 6:30pm, Olde Town turns into a mini French Quarter for the Olde Town Arvada Mardi Gras Brass Band March. It’s free, it’s outside, and it starts right in front of Carly’s Boutique at 7401 Grandview Ave before spilling into the pedestrian mall.

The soundtrack for the evening comes from Guerrilla Fanfare, who will roam through Olde Town Arvada playing pop-up jam sessions along the way. This isn’t a stand-in-one-spot concert. It’s a follow-the-music kind of night. You hear the horns, you turn the corner, and suddenly you’re part of it.

And then there’s the food.

Here’s where to lean in fully:

  • Arty Express & New Image Brewing

Gumbo with potato salad, jambalaya, boudin balls with remoulade, plus hurricanes, sazeracs, and king cake.

  • Bluegrass Coffee & Bourbon Lounge

$9 Sazeracs and $6 draft beer specials.

  • Marmalade Lounge & Boutique

Sidewalk bar pouring Hurricanes, Sazeracs, and Abita beers.

  • Olde Town Social

Deep fried gator bites, muffuletta sandwiches, Hurricanes, and Mardi Gras themed shots.

  • Rheinlander Bakery

King and Prince cakes. If someone finds the baby, you know the rules.

  • School House Kitchen and Libations

Fat Tuesday Party from 6 to 9pm with live music from The Decaf Muchachos and a full Cajun lineup: jambalaya, Cajun pasta, fried catfish, gumbo, Sazeracs, Black Manhattans, Mai Tais, and Hurricanes.

  • Secret Level

Sazeracs, Hurricanes, frozen strawberry daiquiris, and Cajun chicken chunks.

It’s one of those nights where you don’t need a big plan. Just show up, grab a drink, follow the brass, and let Olde Town do its thing. Tuesday suddenly feels a lot less ordinary.
