Happy Friday, Denver!

There’s a food event this weekend that’s less about ā€œgrabbing a biteā€ and more about going all in on a full-on flavor adventure. If you’ve ever debated your favorite bowl or just love discovering new bites, this one might have your name written all over it—read on to see why.

Slurp Season Has Arrived šŸœ

Slurp Season Has Arrived šŸœ

Denver, cancel your dinner plans—this Friday’s featured pick is basically a love letter to noodles. The Denver Ramen Festival is taking over Denargo Market on Saturday, April 18, and it sounds like the kind of food event where showing up hungry is not just encouraged, it’s the whole strategy. Between unlimited ramen, boba, sake, live entertainment, and a JDM car show, this is shaping up to be one of the tastiest ways to spend the weekend.

Denver Ramen Festival

šŸ“ 3800 Denargo Street, Denver | ā° Saturday, April 18 | 12:00 PM–8:30 PM | šŸŽŸļø $94+

If your ideal weekend includes broth, noodles, and zero self-control around dumplings, this one’s for you. The Denver Ramen Festival brings together a huge lineup of local chefs and restaurants for a full-on noodle showdown, where you can sample bowl after bowl and decide for yourself who deserves the ramen crown.

This isn’t just a ramen stop—it’s an all-access food fest. Your ticket includes food and drinks, plus extras like commemorative chopsticks and glassware, with upgraded options for early entry and VIP-only bites. Translation: yes, this is absolutely the kind of event where you arrive saying ā€œI’ll pace myselfā€ and leave having very much not paced yourself.

The vendor list is stacked, too, with names like JINYA, Kokoro, Ninja Ramen, The Kazoku, Cupbop, Now Pho, Panda Dim Sum & Dumplings, Rocky Mountain Momo, and more. So even if you’re a ramen traditionalist or someone who gets distracted by boba, skewers, and fusion side quests, there’s plenty here to keep your chopsticks busy.

And because Denver can never just do one thing at a time, the festival also layers in DJs, cultural performances, and the crowd-favorite JDM Car Show. So you’re not just going for lunch—you’re going for a whole vibe. One minute you’re debating tonkotsu versus miso, the next you’re sipping sake and admiring tricked-out cars like this was always the plan.

A few fun ramen facts to keep in your back pocket while you slurp: instant ramen was once considered a luxury item, ramen noodles were the first noodles eaten in space, and yes—slurping is part of the experience. For once, making noise with your food is not only allowed, it’s basically good manners.

For a Friday feature, this one checks every box: fun, different, delicious, and very Denver. Come hungry, bring your noodle-loving crew, and prepare to spend at least part of the day deciding which bowl you’re still thinking about afterward.
