Cravings: Amp Artisan Coffee

Located inside Free Market downtown, Amp Artisan Coffee is a tiny cafĆ© with big flavor. The drinks lean European — darker roasts, rich doppio shots, and Boulder’s Ozo beans — alongside ceremonial-style matcha and rotating specialty creations with house-made syrups. It’s the kind of spot you pop into for a quick latte and end up staying for a pastry and a second round.

8th Annual Petite Parade

8th Annual Petite Parade

šŸ“ Dairy Block | ā° Sunday, March 1 | 12–2 PM | šŸŽŸļø Free (float participants must register)

Denver’s tiniest parade is making its grand return — and yes, it’s just as charming as it sounds. Hosted by Dairy Block and the wildly entertaining Handsome Little Devils, this Mardi Gras celebration invites anyone (individuals, families, businesses, you name it) to design a miniature float and strut it down the alley.

The best part? It all takes place inside the heated Dairy Block Alley — so you can celebrate in comfort while soaking up live music, dancing, and plenty of purple-green-and-gold flair. Expect over-the-top creativity, big laughs, and prizes for standout floats.

It’s free, festive, and very Denver — where else do we celebrate Mardi Gras with tiny floats and theatrical chaos in a downtown alley? šŸ˜‰
