🎶 Holiday Magic, Mile High Style — Colorado Symphony’s Festive Lineup
If you’re craving a holiday outing that feels festive and elevated (without being stuffy), the Colorado Symphony has you covered. Their holiday slate runs the gamut — from brassy cheer and classic choral drama to full-on movie magic and a surprise country icon moment.
Fan favorites are back, including Holiday Brass (loud, joyful, and very December), the timeless power of Handel’s Messiah, and Elf in Concert, where the movie plays while the orchestra performs the soundtrack live — a crowd-pleaser for kids and adults alike. And ringing in the new year? That honor goes to A Night in Vienna, a sparkling New Year’s Eve concert that feels equal parts elegant and celebratory.
The sleeper hit this season comes just after the confetti settles: Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony. Curated by Dolly herself, this two-night run blends orchestral arrangements with a live band and all the hits — yes, Jolene and 9 to 5 included. Unexpected? Absolutely. A blast? Without question.

Colorado Pilots Deliver Holiday Supplies to Rural Veterans ✈️
Pilots and MSU Denver aviation students delivered food, toys, and supplies to rural VFW posts this weekend during the 15th annual Ron Davies Memorial Charity Airlift.
Flights launched from Centennial Airport, delivering an estimated 12,000 pounds of aid across Colorado. This was the first year without founder Ron Davies, whose legacy continues through the annual mission.
Bottom line: A small fleet, a big impact — and a lot of holiday cheer delivered by air.
