Happy Monday, Denver ! 🧩🎉

Ben here — and I’m officially declaring “look up at 7 p.m.” the new Mile High holiday tradition. With 600 drones drawing Santa, reindeer, and Denver landmarks across the sky, it feels like the whole city ordered a custom light show. If you’ve been needing a little wonder (or just a good excuse to stand outside with hot cocoa), this nightly drone show is it.

🎄 Denver’s Holiday Drone Show Is Back — And It’s Pure Mile High Magic

🎄 Denver’s Holiday Drone Show Is Back — And It’s Pure Mile High Magic

If you’ve noticed the sky looking a little extra sparkly lately, no, you’re not imagining things. Denver’s nightly holiday drone show is officially lighting up the skyline again, and honestly? It’s giving Santa’s sleigh a run for its money.

This year’s show features 600 drones — yes, six hundred tiny flying elves — choreographed by the Denver-based wizards at Brightflight Drone Shows. Think glowing reindeer, shimmering Denver landmarks, surprise sports-themed nights, and a whole lot of “wait, how are they doing that in the sky?!” moments. And the best part: it happens every single night through the end of the year.

So grab your hot cocoa, your puffy jacket, and maybe that friend who loves pointing at things — because here’s where to catch the best views.

⭐ When & Where to Watch

📆 Every night at 7 p.m.

📍 West of Downtown Denver

Each show lasts 10–15 minutes, which is perfect for a quick dose of holiday wonder before dinner, date night, or one more Target run you definitely didn’t plan.

Nuggets Make Franchise History on the Road 🏀

Denver beat Charlotte 115–106 on Sunday, securing their 10th straight road win — the longest road streak in franchise history.

At 17–6, the Nuggets just posted their best 23-game start ever and are pacing for a 60-win season.

  • Jamal Murray exploded for 34 points — 23 in the first quarter alone — plus 6 assists and zero turnovers.

  • Nikola Jokic delivered 28 points, 9 rebounds, 11 assists, and quietly passed Michael Jordan on the all-time assists list.

  • Denver pulled away late after Charlotte’s 46 (!!) three-point attempts finally cooled off.

Teams are launching threes against Denver — 38.5 per game, 8th-most in the league — but opponents are hitting just 34% of their wide-open looks, the second-lowest clip in the NBA.

Elite shot-making + disciplined late-game defense. Charlotte’s 106 points were the fewest allowed by the Nuggets in nearly a month.

A strange break in the schedule — three days off → “replacement game” vs. Sacramento → three more days off → Houston.

January becomes road-heavy, so the rest is well-timed.
