Wildfire Quickly Contained on West Side of Fort Collins
Fire crews contained the Dixon Fire Thursday morning after a multi-alarm response on Fort Collins’ west side.
What we know:
The fire burned about 2.5 acres near the foothills in the 4400 block of Laporte Avenue.
Firefighters stopped its spread and moved into mop-up operations.
No injuries were reported.
A fast response kept the wildfire small and prevented further damage.
